With over ten years of experience writing copy for top brands, I have done it all—from short-form headline writing for Target’s Weekly Ad to long-form blogs and email marketing for The Tile Shop. I love crafting attention-grabbing puns just as much as I do detailed guides or listicles. Here are a few of my favorite projects, including articles, social posts, and promotional print pieces.
The Tile Shop: Blogs
During my two years at The Tile Shop, I concepted, researched, and wrote a weekly blog post. Posts were informed by SEO data, industry trends, and business objectives, and were promoted widely in our email and social media channels. A couple of the posts—24 Small Kitchen Backsplash Tile Ideas and 20 Space-Maximizing Small Bathroom Tile Ideas—went viral, generating over 1,500 monthly views.









Email Marketing
At The Tile Shop, I pitched, concepted, wrote, and edited emails to maintain our 1-2 per week schedule. These emails included new product information, style inspiration, and information about installation materials directed at our Pro audience. Here are a few of my favorites.

A selection of Social Posts written for Target and beyond. The non-Target posts were both written and designed by me: a post for a local restaurant advertising that they would be open for Thanksgiving, and posts promoting a writing contest for a literary magazine.

Taking talking points from her website and interviews, I wrote a script for Laura Park’s voiceover introducing her new Tile Shop-exclusive collection.
